Taxes & accounting

VAT registrations, the rate matrix by country, the Xero tax-type map, the chart of accounts, and the legal entities behind each trading desk. Writes require the config capability.

VAT registrations

Countries where we hold a VAT registration. Registration drives the export decision — an unregistered destination is zero-rated export.

Completeness matrix

Every registered country needs a rate and a domestic Xero map for each tax class. Cells are editable — Save writes the rate.

red = no rate (battery invariant V7 violation — pushes to this country fail closed)amber = rated but no domestic Xero map
No registered countries — add one above to see its completeness.

Xero tax map

Each (country, rate) routes to a Xero TaxType. 0% ≠ 0% — export and domestic zero-rated carry different TaxTypes, so is_export is part of the key.

Channel accounts

The Xero chart of accounts each channel's invoices post to. Channels with no override fall back to the Default (all channels) row.

No accounts configured — the Xero push fails closed without a Default row.

Legal entities

Each trading desk's legal entity — its country of establishment (the seller country / export reference) and VAT number.
